As I have been immersed in the culture of Kolkata for a few weeks now, the Lord has been opening my eyes to more and more that I have taken for granted. As an American Christian, the Lord has blessed me so much. Everything He has given to me, it is all for a purpose, all for a reason, all for His glory.
What am I doing with the life that You’ve given me? A few minutes a day in prayer? An hour or two for church a week? You’ve given me 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 30,000 days for my life. I have given how many of those back to you?
You give me talents, abilities, passions, dreams and finances. And I give back how much? A maximum of 10%? Not me, Lord. Not anymore. Don’t let me be a 10% Christian. Here is my life. It’s the minimum I can give.
